Get ready for a rockin' good time with local musician and Montgomery firefighter, Sean Benz! For 18 years, Sean has proudly brought music to life across the upper Midwest, and with his powerhouse backup band, The Misfits—who boast over 50 years of combined experience in the music business—they deliver an electrifying variety show packed with classics from the '50s, '60s, and '70s. Fresh off their performance at the Ritchie Valens Family Luncheon during the Winter Dance Party Celebration, they’re ready to get you on your feet with hits from legends like Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley, Dion and the Belmonts, Ritchie Valens, Roy Orbison, and more. Dovednost Art Market

Coming in fall of 2026! The New Prague Area Arts Council is proud to introduce the Dovednost Art Market, a premier handmade market featuring the works of fine artists for show and sale. This one-day event will showcase a curated selection of talented artisans offering high-quality goods in a variety of media including painting, photography, fiber arts, ceramics, bookmaking, jewelry, weaving and more.

We will begin accepting applications for this event on November 1, 2025. Artists who are interested in showcasing original, handcrafted work in the Dovednost Art Market must submit an application by January 15, 2026. All artists will be juried into the market and notified if selected by February 1, 2026.
