General Information

Early childhood education is beneficial for children ages 3, 4 and 5. Early childhood education prepares young children for their transition into elementary school. Sending your preschool-age child to one of these early childhood education programs can make a positive impact on them and give them a head start toward a bright future.
 

District 721 Preschool

New Prague Area Schools offers a variety of classes for children ages 3, 4 and 5. Classes can be as few as two days per week to four days. Our District Preschool holds a 4-Star Parent Aware status, the highest rating awarded.
 

Early Childhood Family Education

We offer many classes for you and your child to take together beginning at infancy thru the start of kindergarten. If you would like a current ECFE brochure, please call Sharon at (952) 758-1674.
 

Early Childhood Screening

Early Childhood Screening is a quick and simple check of how your child is growing and developing. You are now able to schedule your child's screening online. Visit the Early Childhood Screening page. You will find the "Schedule your appointment" located on the bottom of this page.
 

Preschool WRAP Childcare

The Preschool WRAP program is a full year, August-August preschool age childcare run in cooperation with New Prague Area Community Education. WRAP extends your child's day with discovery and play-based activities in a safe and nurturing environment. Our program is available Monday-Friday, before and after District Preschool as well as on days your child does not have District Preschool.
